Our 5300+ foot long by 50 foot wide hard surface runway can accommodate the largest of aircraft.

No. Our flying field has superior drainage qualities and high quality soil so it never closes due to weather. No muddy roads or parking areas ever.
Yes. 125,000 watts 240/120 Vac power on site can accommodate power to the largest of events without interruption day or night. Virtually unlimited charging at high C rates is possible.
Yes. Vast flat grassy areas for superb landings of gliders or aircraft without landing gear.
All runway overrun areas are grass, free of large rocks, and level with the runway minimizing the chance of damage to aircraft.
CRCHC is a helicopter club. Helicopter pilots are free to fly all types of RC aircraft. We love aviation!
No. Keypad access is required for gate entry. You must be accompanied by a member.
CRCHC is less windy than other fields because of its geographical location.
CRCHC has no noise or altitude restrictions.
CRCHC has one of the largest flying fields in the nation with over 5000 square acres. This is more than double the size of AMA headquarters.

CRCHC is mindful of overhead costs so our membership dues are budget-friendly.
$100. Per year plus a one-time initiation fee of $100.
Yes. All CRCHC members receive a 10% discount at our local Hobbytown.
No. CRCHC respects the privacy of its members and doesn't share any of their personal information with outside sources.
Yes. Membership to active military and youth is free.

THE COMMUNITY:
CRCHC does not prohibit spectators from interacting with the pilots at its events by roping off the pit areas. We encourage community interaction. Our members love to share with others our passion for aviation.
CRCHC has a team of energetic instructor pilots ready and willing to teach you to fly! Many of our members are knowledgeable, factory sponsored pilots willing to help you with your equipment.
